Born and raised in St. Louis, I grew up on thin crust pizza with provel cheese,toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake. 5th Street is a little slice of home. And the owner does it right even traveling to St. Louis for the provel and Luisa’s toasted ravioli. Decorated with Blues, Cardinals and Mizzou memorabilia, the atmosphere reminds one of a pizzeria you would find on the ‘Hill’. In addition, the background music is good old rock music from the 70’s and 80’s. I will gladly drive 1.5 hrs for such a dining experience as 5th Street.
